The Maine Coon generally lives 9-15yrs.It is a large cat with a powerful muscular body and substantial legs.The muzzle is square with a firm chin.
It is medium/semi longhaired but fairly self-maintaining,needing only minimum grooming to keep its coat in good condition.
It has medium energy levels and compatibility with other cats and children,but still remains a good firm family pet.
They have a sweet nature,are playful and friendly and enjoy human company
