Profile-British Short Hair

The British Shorthair usually lives into their early teens 9-15yrs.The face is round with full cheeks.The nose is short and broad.It is a large cat and prone to obesity,so watch the diet! It has medium energy,and is well suited to children and other cats. They are the gentle giants of the cat world and are loving and affectionate.They are often quite happy to be indoor cats. The coat length is short and has little shedding.Tends to look after itself,although the odd grooming session never does any harm! Generally a good all round family pet.
